Years  9 &  10 A .H.

Ghazwah Tabuk
After his return from Ta'if the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was staying in Medina. When the first six month of 9 A .H. had passed, the Prophet received in information that the Romans who had been defeated in Ghazwah Muta, were making preparation for a war against the Muslim in Tabuk (about fourteen mails away from the Muslims' population) He also started necessary preparations for Jihad, although the Muslims were passing through hard times in those days due to famine. Besides, it was terribly hot weather. In spite of these adverse circumstances, the devoted Muslims continued their preparations for Jihad. While contribution was being collected, Hadrat Siddiq-e-Akbar  contributed all the belongings of his own house. Hadrat Uthman made a magnificent of war material which included nine hundred camels and horses.

On the Thursday of Rajab, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) advanced toward Tabuk with a force of thirty thousand Sahabah.

Some Miracles
On their way to Tabuk, ABu Zar Ghafari was seen going all alone. Thereupon, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He shall remain also aloof from the rest of the world, pass his life aloof and shall also die aloof." And it happened exactly the same way. During the same Ghazwah the dromedary of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was lost. He was informed through revelation that its string had entangled with a tree. When traced out, the dromedary was found in the same situation.

When the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) reached Tabuk with his Islamic force, King Heraclius had left for Hams. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) sent Khalid bin Walid toward Akaidar at might while hw would be hunting. When Khalid reached there, he saw the same situation and he arrested Akaidar and brought him alongwith him before the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed there for about a fortnight but no one come to encounter the Islamic army. Therefore, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) returned to Medina in Ramadan of 9 A .H. This was the last Ghazwah of Prophet.

Masjid Darrar set on Fire
After the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) return to Medina Prophet ordered to set on fire the building which the hypocrites had erected commingly displaying it as a mosque with an evil design to hatch conspiracies against the Muslims. The event revealed Masid darrar was not Mosque in reality.

Embracement of Islam
After the treaty of Hudaibiya, the desired peace and safety on the routes being available, publicity of Islam could be done at large scale. For this very reason the treaty was named as victory in the revealed scriptures. Still there were some people, who, being under the pressure of the Quraish  could not embrace Islam. The conquest Mecca had completely removed this hurdle. And now the miraculous dynamism of the Holy Qur'an had prevailed upon the hearts of the Arabs in every nook and corner of the country. Consequently the people, who resented Islam and the Muslims, voluntarily presented themselves before the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) after covering a long journey in the form of delegates and embraced Islam in large number with the pledge to make every sort of sacrifice form Islam, if and when required. Most of these delegates sought the Holy Prophet's (peace be upon him)  audience in 9 A .H.

Delegation
Immediately after the Holy Prophet's (peace be upon him) return from Tabuk, the Saqeef delegation came in Median and embraced Islam. Therefore, a number of delegations come one after the other which were more on less seventy as reported. A brief description of some of the is as follows:

Banu Fazarah: delegation had already embraced Islam and later on come to Medina to meet the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) .

Banu Temmem: delegation met the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)  and after some discussion all its members embraced Islam.

Sa'd ibne Bakar:  delegation was conducted by Damam bin Tha'labah. Its members raised many questions and when replied to their satisfactions, they embraced Islam. They returned to their people, propagated Islam among them and as a result of it all the people of their community embraced Islam.

Kahdah: delegation as soon as they heard the opening verses of Surah saaffat of the Holy Qur'an, they felt so much impressed tat they embraced Islam form the core of their heart.
anu Abdul Qais delegation these people were formerly Christians. They had an audience with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)  and embraced Islam. The  Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) gave them the essential instructions about Islam.

Banu Abdul Qais: delegation the members of this delegation embraced Islam after meeting the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Musailamah was also one of the members of this delegation but later on he himself claimed prophethood and for that false claim he was called Musailamah Kazzab (the biggest liar).

( AN ANALYSIS) Even at the time of his claim for prophethood Musailamah had not denied the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him) nor had he denied the truth of the Holy Qur'an and Islam. In this respect.

And for this very reason he was killed alongwith his supporters during the caliphate of Siddiq-e-Akbar. Tafseer Sheikh Abu Jafar Tibri, while mentioning the false claim of Musailmah in his history book, writes: "Musailamah had instructed his Muzzin (one who calls for prayer) to regularly announces "Ash-hadu anna Muhammadar-Rasool Ullah" in his Azzan. But anyone's claim to be a prophet after he Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) being disallowed in Islam, rather its very claim in any form being the denial of the faith in prophethood, the fundamentals of a Holy Qur'an and the authentic Ahadeeth, Musailamah's claim even of nominal prophethood was regarded as infidelity and apostasy by the Sahabah of he Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Banu Qahtan: Zaid-ul-Khali was leader of this delegation. All the members of this delegation embraced Islam after meeting the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Banu Al-Hartih delegation : Khalid bin Waleed was also among the members of this delegation and he embraced Islam alongwith others.

Similarly other delegations viz. Banu Asad, Banu Maharib, Hamudan, Ghassan etc. etc. come. Some of them embraced Islam before meeting the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)and some afterwards. Several Chieftains of Humair, who considered kings of their respective communities, were reported through their messengers to have embraced Islam. In the same way many other delegations, walking on foot or riding in camels or horses, presented themselves to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and embraced Islam, And by the 10th A.H. more than on lac Msulims accompanied the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) for Hajj and those who could not accompany him their number was much larger.

Siddiq-e-Akbar as Ameer-ul-Haj
After Ghazwah Tanuk, in Zi Qa'ad of 9 A.H., the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) appointed Saddiq-e-Akbar as the Ameer-ul-Hajj and sew him off for Mecca, the Golrified.

Year 10 A .H.

The Year  HAJJAT-UL-ISLAM
On Monday, teh 25th Zi-Qa'ad of 10 A.H., the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) set out for Hajj a very large number of Sahabah, who were as reported, more than one lac. At Zul-Hulaifah, six miles away from Medina Munawwarah, They put on their Ihram, entered Mecca Muazzamah on Saturday, the 4th Zil Hajj and then performed Hajj according to the tenets of Sahabah

Sermon in Arafaat
On the 9th Zil Hajja, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) after reaching Arfaat delivered a comprehensive and eloquent sermon which was, in fact, the last message of the last Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Especially the following words of Prophet's sermon ought to be inscribed on the leaf of the heart of every Muslim:

" O People ! Listen to my word so that I may tell you the important matters. May be I no longer exist among you by next year."

   Then Prophet said:
" The life, the property and the honour of Muslims are as much sacred for you as this day (Arafah), this month (Zil Hajj) and this city (Mecca). therefore, whosoever is entrusted with any thing by anyone, he should return it to him."

   Thereafter Prophet said:

" O people ! Your women-folk have their rights on you and you have your rights on them. "

" O people ! All Muslims are brothers of one another. No one has any right over the possession of another without his voluntary approval. Do not apostate after me nor kill one another, as I am leaving behind for you the Book if Allah. If you hold fast the commandments contained therein your shall never go astray."

   Then Prophet said:

" O People ! Your Lord is one and your father is one. All of you are the posterity of Adam ( Peace be upon him) was created from clay. The most honourable among you is the one who is the most righteous of you. No Arab is superior to a non-Arab (Ajami). Remember, I have conveyed the divine message. O Allah ! Those who are present ought to convey to others who are absent."

After performing Hajj the the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in Mecca for ten days and returned to Medina.
